Recruiting

As you probably know, the resources of any NCAA Division III football team are somewhat limited.  Because of limitations both in terms of staffing and financial resources, one of our goals is to help with the recruitment of qualified student-athletes. There are a few ways we can help RPI recruit high school, prep school, and junior college players.

  1. Fill out the form below so that the coached can get a head start
  2. Gather Press Clippings, Stats, and Films of Local Teams and Players and send to Brian Surace at the football office.
  3. Take in a Local Game(s)
    1. Indicate Standout Players
    2. Introduce yourself to players/coaches and exchange contact information
  4. Personal Contact
  5. Call or visit a perspective athletes (Arranged with/thru coaches)
    1. Discuss your experiences at Rensselaer
    2. Recruit them to play for RPI
  6. Recruiting Weekend Support
    1. The Power of Numbers
    2. Help with Tours and Lunch Conversations
    3. Share Business Cards and Success Stories (On and Off the Field)

If you are interested in helping out with recruiting please indicate it on your contact information. If you have any thoughts, suggestions or questions about the Recruiting Program please contact Tom Keaney (tkeaney@jrndevelopment.com) or Ray Moran (moranray@aol.com).
